Marcus Cole enlisted in the Rangers after his brother was killed by a Shadow attack on Orion VII. Marcus is fluent in Minbari and an expert with "the pike," or Minbari Fighting Rod. He currently represents most of the Rangers on Babylon 5, along with Delenn.
Marcus and Sheridan took the fleet out to Proxima 3 and since then have continued to strike deeper and deeper into Earth Alliance space. After Sheridan's capture, he remained briefly in command of the fleet until Ivanova arrived to assume control.
