The White Star was first developed using both Vorlon and Minbari technology, and was given to help the Alliance fight the Shadows. It is a small craft when compared to a Minbari Cruiser, but yet can still open its own jump point and has an impressive offensive array.
The White Star was never intended to be a one of a kind ship. In the past year, the religious and worker castes of the Minbari have been constructing them around the clock to produce a fleet to take on the Shadows. They will be piloted by the Rangers, under Delenn and Sheridan's shared command.
