Within the past three years, the Centauri Republic has went from a peaceful society to an empire driven by blood and conquest. After penetrating the last lines of defense on Narn, they proceeded to bombard the planet with mass drivers from orbit. The result was a world whose economy and infrastructure lay in total waste. After that, the proud Narn were forced to surrender to the Centauri and accept their humiliating terms.
However, the Centauri were not finished. They continued to attack over 10 of their neighbors in a series of trivial border wars, trying to gain more room to expand. Finally, at the urging of Ambassador Londo Mollari, the Centauri began to slow their advance on other worlds and fortify the defense around their homeworld, Centauri Prime.
