Earth Force One was the President's personal transport through space. Although not heavily armed, the ship was guarded at all times by a squadron of Star Furies.
Unfortunately, President Santiago's life was cut short, when a group of terrorists evaded Earth Force Security and planted a bomb on-board the ship. Shortly after the ship left Io, the bomb went off and completely destroyed the ship. Then Vice-President Clark had not boarded the ship, citing personal illness. There have been many rumors linking Clark to the bombing, but none have been confirmed at this time.
